The Galeria Van der Voort is one of the historic galleries on Ibiza, which makes it a must for all art-lovers. It is located in the Plaza de Vila, right at the heart of the old part of the city (declared a World Heritage site by Unesco).

It was opened by Carl Van der Voort and is presently run by Cati Verdera. As well as exhibiting the work of famous artists from outside the island (both painters and photographers), the gallery also promotes the most promising young artists from Ibiza and Formentera.

Every year the gallery attends Arco, the international contemporary art fair in Madrid, to exhibit its latest collections. There is an annex to the gallery a few metres away designed by the architect Josep Lluis Sert.
